I don't get why they need such a gimmicky publicity stunt when Zenyatta has brought so many fans to the game in California.

Even if they feel the need to do it, at least use some decent horses.

It was almost like Chantal let Mike Smith take the early lead. It was an odd race. I thought for sure there would be an all out speed duel.

if they really wanted to promote racing, Chantal could have rode Tap It Twice naked.

At least the last time they did this, there were real horses involved (Woke up Dreamin). Today was slightly ridiculous.

Slightly is being kind.

I don't know what was worse --- the "King of the Ring" match-race on the bullring at Fairplex last year between Flores and Pedroza. Or this nonsense Poly match-race today.

I actually bet that stupid King of the Ring match last year -- well, traded it on EhorseX anyway - and got sunk when Flores decided to gun out of the gate and Pedroza decided to take the War Admiral tactics and rate the speed.
