For those who are playing, Saratoga just took all of their races off the turf.

Little surprising they couldn't have done that before the race and early pk4 considering they announced it right after the race.

No excuse for Who is Lady who had it all her way and managed to lose there.

Has the 4th race been declared an "all" race for pic-4 purposes?

It has. They really should have announced before the race and allowed people to void their pk4 plays.

Tough situation. If they had taken race off just before second race went off, the 4th race would not be an "all" race, and absent two-minute drill handcapping and ability to cancel, everyone would be stuck with their turf selections for a dirt race. Almost either have to take race off about half hour before the multi-race begins or do what they did.

The real problem, if my memory is correct, is that while the 4th is an "all" race for pic-4 purposes, it may not be one for pic-3 purposes due to a quirk of NY racing regulations.

Spa 4

I should have given the 4th a better look before punching the DD, but looked a little too late. The 9 seems clearly the horse to beat.

$20QU 5,9
$20DD 5,9/1
$1pk3 5,9/1/2,4,5,6,8
