![]() "Leicester: fancied debut runner for Red Clubs
By Bloodstock World Staff 8:48AM 31 MAR 2011 "THE embryonic Flat season in Britain and Ireland has already seen first-crop sires Dylan Thomas and Dutch Art get off the mark, and today's opening race at Leicester could see a third name added to that list. "The 5f median auction maiden (2.20pm) has attracted seven runners including those from the first crops of Dark Angel and Red Clubs. "Red Clubs, who stood at Tally Ho Stud before covering difficulties forced his withdrawal from stud duty last year, is represented by the early morning favourite Jack Who's He. The colt cost trainer DavidEvans £9,000 as a yearling and is the third runner for his sire." Doesn't sound like he was dead at this point. Will investigate farther. |

![]() Put 'death of Red Clubs' in the searchers of the archives of Bloodhorse and Racing Post and don't get anything that announces his death, the way they usually do. I also went to the Tally Ho Stud site and looked at their news archive and see no announcement there, either. If you want to go to the source, you could e-mail them at info@tallyhostud.com .
