It's time for the track's archaic claiming rules to go! The track imposed "jail" rules that won't let a claimed horse run at another track for a certain period of time after the claim restricts my ability as a horse owner to run my business needs to stop.

Delaware restricts me from being able to claim and, even if I could claim there, I would have to keep the horse racing at the track until the meet closes in Nov. It is not Delaware Park's horse - it is my horse. I should be able to run my claim where I want, when I want. And I shouldn't be restricted from claiming at Delpark as long as I meet the licensing requirments and am a licensed owner in good standing.
