Any of the NYers on the board could apply and wear an earpiece and Doug could feed the person what to say. It (allegedly) worked out well for GW in the 2004 debates.

They should appoint someone from outside of NY to address issues from a simulcast player's perspective. Since the group is only going to make non-binding suggestions and has no authority, it is all a bit meaningless anyway. Perhaps they will get some good ideas, but acting on those is another matter entirely.
