Somebody tell me why they are running 11-12 races each day?

Seriously? You haven't noticed that they're running 3 days a week?

You understand that the horsemen and owners need to pay to feed and train their horses, right? Or did you think they were lawn ornaments and the Monmouth backstretch was a petting zoo?

Because Central Park already has too many horses pulling carriages.....................

No excuse for them to be not running on Thursdays. By doing that they could have 9 races on Thursday and Friday, 11 Saturday and 10 on Sunday.

So you are proposing they run 39 races over 4 days as opposed to 36 over 3?

I'm in favor of 18 races 2 days a week. GSP traffic is a nightmare.

FYI, i was there last friday and everyone seemed to enjoy all the races.
