L T Smith Enterprises owns Bella Selena and have been breeding her since 1997's Breezin Bella (Rare Brick). She produced a KY bred $300k earner with Lit De Justice named Lettherebejustice (2001) that made most of his money in Canada. After that, Bella Serena was moved to Texas and has dropped foals by Lite the Fuse, Gold Legend, Wimbledon and Exciting Story since then, and now Menhal.

This one isn't Breeders' Cup nominated. As far as the Beyer, it's highly unusual to see a big fig like that from a 2yo at Lone Star. Seems like the numbers at mid-major tracks like LS always skew a bit lower, so a fig like this indicates some serious ability that transfer to other circuits.

who was that horse a while back for Gary West that won by like 22 lenghts at Lousiana Downs or something at first asking, and did run nicely in its next 2-3 starts but then tailed off or something when moved up to face better.

An awesome debut. At the top of the stretch: "Canigotoo just rebroke!" Indeed.

He didn't really tail off when facing better though, he won the Forego and placed in the Cigar Mile and Met Mile.
