Can you explain why they have all these huge races during the work week brock? Does anyone work in Europe or is it just a break from the latest soccer riot and debt crisis?

not sure the real reason Randall - firstly it is tradition and they try not to change things even though a weekend would allow a lot more people to enjoy it. Like for example, I took a half day off work to watch the racing.

It may also descend from old times when only Lords went racing and sure the days of the week didnt really matter to them, they could go racing whenever they wanted and keeping the good racing mid week would keep all the lower classes from attending.

Did they give a reason why Rosario didn't ride yesterday?

From a betting point of view Im happy So You Think got beat - Dettori, some ride, hit the horse 24 times in the last 2 furlongs though, gets 9 days but beats the Aussie superstar and makes his horse a star in the process - job done!!

Oh my God I'm gonna sound like No Chance here but shouldn't this have happened a while ago?

(My post was months before the Sheema Classic, by the way).

http://www.derbytrail.com/forums/sho...ight=rewilding

Not that that means anything, it doesn't but now what?

Go the way of Cutlass Bay?

I'm a fan of both... this one and So You Think (although I did think Planteur was gonna be sneaky good here).

NIce that he won but I think that's it for a while now.

Is my I've-lost-all-faith-in-the-Godolphin-organization showing?

Good luck to Geordieland tomorrow. He can be last for all I care... not playing tomorrow except for the Norfolk which I'm still sorting through.

Anyone have picks for tomorrow?

OH yeah, PS... screw Frankie.

TVG said on Monday that he couldn't get his visa in order in time to travel over.

Wow, the Ribblesdale was an exciting race.

Field Of Miracles was so brave. She just wouldn't go away! I was hoping she might get her head back in front. But Banimpire is obviously a very good filly - two stakes wins in four days!

Fame And Glory proved me wrong! I had major doubts over his stamina. But that was a powerful display.
