Cowell was in a state of disbelief as Prohibit returned to the winner's enclosure. "I can't believe that's just happened - has it happened?" he said.

"I'm overwhelmed. I've got sunglasses on, so you won't notice I'm crying. I've had a bit of flak for running him too much, but he thrives on his racing. He's a game horse and I'm chuffed to bits. It's the best day of my racing life - it's awesome."

I don't understand making a middle move into the speed horse.... he had a right to be exhausted down the lane, and he was.
