Thanks Mike and Pat,
I'd love to see what he does on the grass.
If he does something here, he just might be Toga bound.
As I've said before, it takes him a while to find his stride.
He's never been great out of the gate.
I have confidence in Jared's decision. Big Daddy Ray is bred to run longer imho. Grand daddy is Deputy Minister.
Hey! Afterall, I'm not a trainer.
We'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for sharing with us DTS. I love hearing owner stories. Live it through your eyes! You going to be at the track for this one? I can't wait! Few more days. Good Luck and good thoughts headed BDR's way!

Thanks Buffy and John,
I'm getting a good feeling about this one...took a look at who he's running against.
We'll have to just hope it unfolds the way I hope it does.
Look for him to close after the turn for home.

you don't see too many pedigrees with Teddy at the top of the linebreeding chart. anf BDR has a nice influence from Teddy's daughter, La Troienne. It seems that BDR's running style is suited for the turf. Has he worked over the turf ?

Sumitas,
I'm with you on the "turf" running for BDR.
Unfortunately, Finger Lakes doesn't have a turf course.
I'm hoping that if he does something here, we'll bring him to Saratoga and try him on the grass,
btw, I talked with Kathy about your Desert Warrior baby. She's looking forward. Good luck with that one!

John,
Actually I thought of Suffolk.
BDR is a nybred. As you know, with the "incentive program", it makes sense to run him in NY.
If he stays healthy, maybe Belmont in the fall.
If he does well in this start, maybe Toga.
At this point, it's one race at a time. I need to see how he does.
