Hey, Newt never said that there were 57 states...

Either did Obama. He was asked while running around on the campaign trail, about all the travel, how many states he'd visited, and he laughed and said, "All 57!" You know - as a joke?

Or confused "his Muslim faith" with "his Christian faith"

Or said he wants to "spread the wealth around" - wealth besides his own of course.

Your income taxes are the lowest they've been since the 1950's. Thank the multiple tax cuts and incentives you've gotten from this President.

There are many idiotic statements that this president has made despite the media's overt action to hide his missteps and protect him.

Do feel free to share them, especially as there are "many".

In the debate it will be just Obama vs. Gingrich. No media to help. No prepared commercials. No orchestrated press conferences with softball questions and 20 minute long meandering answers.

It will be Newt vs. Barack. And I like Newt's odds any day.

Have you ever heard Newt actually speak? He has a long-standing reputation similar to Joe Biden for saying redonkulous, absurd things

I doubt Newt will get past the first four primaries. He could win Iowa. If they are trying to kill Romney on his successful state healthcare, they will eat Newt alive for his national Socialist mandated government healthcare for all plan.

Too bad, as the Dems would salivate over getting to run against Newt, as they would against Palin.

This is what amuses me about this "Newt-love", because he has an education, right wing folks are climbing all over him..."Oh, he's so intelligent, a real intellectual" etc etc...now for every right wing PhD or tenured college professor, there are a half dozen (just a guess) left wing types, folks who agree about 95% of the time with my rather extreme views. If I had a nickel for every time I had to hear about how intellectual Obama is, I'd be able to afford Obama's proposed tax hikes.

The thing is, Newt really is that sharp, and I have a feeling that he's about to prove it in his debate performance, in the primary season certainly, and, possibly, as the candidate for the GOP.

we'll see...hell, I could win debates against Trump, Palin and those folks. Bush was frequently characterized as rather stupid, I never bought it, I seldom agreed with his politics but I never saw him as unintelligent.

Aren't most of they the tax cots from the Bush Presidency? I have had more taxes taken out since Obama has been President. Don't know what tax cuts you're talking about.

obama continued the tax credits that bush passed. they also lowered ss takeout for last year; not sure if that continues thru this year or not.
