I worried he overdosed intentionally with the intent to be discovered by parking on the backstretch - but wasn't as nobody could be bothered to walk over to the car.

If it was unintentional, or if there was a sudden medical problem, perhaps his life could have been saved if he wasn't left unconcious in 80-degree heat all day in a car, even though people noticed him there in the morning.

This is some tough news today. I talked to this kid more than a half dozen times over beers last summer at Jimmy D's, across the street from Arlington Park.

Baze was due at a preliminary hearing Thursday after being charged with first-degree possession of cocaine in November.

Jim Wesley, a Jefferson County deputy coroner, said Wednesday preliminary autopsy results found no anatomical cause of death. He says the toxicology reports will take three weeks.
