I feel bad for the connections.

Heartbreaking for the connections. Which is why Repole commented last week about 50-50 to get to the race. So many things can happen so quickly in this game..hope it's minor and we will see Toby back in training soon...

Same here. I really like this horse, and want to see him return.

Then which was it specifically.....did he get hurt because he was training away from Churchill or because there was a NY Times cover story about Graham Motion?
It's important to know, as in the future, trainers will need to know which to avoid.

Oh, welcome NYRA flunky. I didn't think you cared about life or racing beyond the Belt Parkway. Other than the 7 weeks up state.

Maybe they should just avoid Joe Drape.

I love Motion. Thought he might get a piece. He'll be back.

Is Belmont near the Belt? No wonder I keep getting lost...
I've spent the last 3 JC Gold Cup's at a bodega in Ozone Park. Are you implying, Laurel that NOT training at CD is harmful to horses? Motion is not exactly known for "breaking them down" in fact longevity is the name of the game in his outfit, so a bit of clarification would be useful to this non-flunky.
