I'm confident that O'Bama will take all the credit. This is a great day to be a Navy Vet. God bless the seals and CIA personnel. O'Bama will more than likely throw this in the Republicans faces. Maybe he can now concentrate on the deficit and economy now. F Pakistan!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bin Laden shouldn't of gotten a burial at sea, he doesn't deserve it. My burial for him is to put a apple in his mouth and chop his head off and display the head. He could care less about a human being why should this country care about him.

Why buried at sea? I hate to be the one to start a conspiracy theory, but last night they said they had the body and would show the middle east world that bin-Laden was, in fact, dead. Now, they dump his body in the ocean before the western world even wakes up

I imagine we got him, but I always felt that we were not trying to get him at all (due to his familial ties with the Bush's)and that he would die of diabetes complications, at which time we would claim to have killed him.

Did Pakistan make a deal to hand over the dead body for a 100 million bucks or so?

1. Muslims have to be buried within 24 hours of their death.
2. Burying him in Pakistan would have created a shrine.

Fair enough.

Not that we'd have to bury him in Pakistan or that we'd have to respect his religious wishes and bury him within 24 hours

Couldn't we have given him to that religious sect down in Florida, and just had them burn him?

It's reported we offered to repat the body to Egypt, and they sure as hell didn't want it, either. Sea is the perfect place for it - let the crabs and fishes eat it. Our fight is with Al Quaeda and terrorists, not Muslims - bury the body within 24 hours in accordance with tradition proves we respect the religion, but terrorists aren't brought to a shrine and buried - they are dumped at an unknown location at sea.
