![]() I don't completely dismiss him, but it's hard to gauge him, since his 2 wins this year were with absolute dream trips, something he's guaranteed not to get in the derby. With his running style, I think he's going to need a lot of luck.

![]() If there had been a messege board in 1973, I could only imagine what would have been said about Secretariat after the Wood. Of course, he did have a brilliant Gotham to fall back on as a 3yo while Uncle Mo has nothing.
I've been waiting and waiting for another horse to step up and take over the lead in this pathetic class but none have and so by default, I still go with Uncle Mo. To me, he was so far ahead of the pack going into the last that it's going to take more than the Wood to make me get off of him now. So it's with resignation that I chose Uncle Mo.
