Point,
I hear ya.
I'm not a "breeding elitist", what ever that is.
Just an owner/ breeder. Little guy.
Today, some of the ones I've followed get to "strut their stuff".
Plenty of value for the bettors/cappers...but if they want to pass it's really ok.
For some of the farms that I connect with, this is a very big day.
Enjoy!
You might just catch a 2yo that does something much bigger later on.
Good luck if you cap 'em.

i see Organizer won the Empire Classic. His sire, Raffies Majesty, is one hell of an underrated sire. Super stamina pedigree with one of the greatest German sires ever as his broodmare sire, Surumu. And name me one other sire that has Hyperion (5x5x5) as the top influence on the linebreeding chart.

Sumitas,
Lots look past NY stallions. Cormorant says it all.
Nice that his blood is still here.

I got to see a couple of races today. What a great day for New York racing. There were some very good horses competiting today and as always Belmont looked awesome.

But what happened to Bad Boy Rising today. I really liked this horse and thought he could have a good future. But it was like he hit a brick wall. I hope it comes out of the race OK. Also, Funny Cide looks awful. He went wide but had nothing in the tank. Sharp Humor looked OK today. Got caught by a very good horse. It was good to see Sharp Humor run very well. Looking forward to seeing him perform in 2007.

It looked to me as if Bad Boy Rising wasn't taking to the track or was injured (HOPE NOT!!!). He was struggling way before the stretch. In fact, he was struggling and running bad during the entire race!

I actually was impressed with Sharp Humor's return off of the layoff. He looked really good to me today and will improve off of this start. I don't see him going anywhere but forward. He validated to me today that he is a very good horse.

My only play of the day was Rahy's Appeal and it was a paltry $10wp. I was gunshy because Gomez never comes through for me. Ever. Typically Rahy's Appeal runs third and Gomez wins the next race. I've been seriously considering betting $2 win bets on every mount Gomez has just to see how long it will take him to enter the winner's circle.

Bad Boy Rising was scoped after the race and found to have a very bad lung infection. Hes fine, nothing wrong.

So that is why he looked as if he was really struggling out there. Lung infections will take a horse completely out of their game. I'm glad that he is going to be okay and thanks for the info
