Actually, I wasn't putting Arkansas down at all, it is unfortunate if you would read it that way. I am quite familiar with Arkansas and have spent quite a bit of time in Little Rock, Hot Springs and low populated, dry counties as well. as well and like it. I am also quite familiar with the additudes towards religion with respect to laws in different parts of Arkansas as I am with different parts of New York. I am pretty certain that taking into account overall how the State of Arkansas would regard this issue versus the State of New York, there would be a different outcome. Kentucky, Florida and I believe California allow it. In New York, this rule is nonsense.

I can absolutely live with the Dark days on the two Sundays (although I am sure the track would be open on Palm Sunday if it were their choice). However, losing the internet platform and I am assuming internet Video feed on two consecutive Sundays hurts. Unless something changed since last year.

I am Catholic. End annual gripe...

Palm Sunday...Easter Sunday...The NYS Racing and Wagering Board and the NYS Legislature don't give a F__K about he bettors in the State much less the racing industry. Why do you think it took almost ten years to get the casino at Aqueduct to become a reality?

I will give you the legislature and I have posted my opinion regarding that in the past, but Sabini has proven to be a racing and bettor friendly Chairman of the NYS Wagering Board. He is the type of guy who is correcting many of mistakes that have been made, hence why I asked Steve to communicate to him because he understands the changes that are necessary. To think otherwise on Sabini is just plain trolling.

You're comments are fair. I will respect the fact that Sabini is trying.

I didn't realize the whole platform was not open, this is silly. I was saying I didn't begrudge the race trackers having Easter with their family. If other jurisdictions choose to race, the computer platform should be open.
