Honu....I am sorry to hear this kiddo. I hope TTM is gonna be okay. Would love to see him return to the races again next year.

How can this turn into a dump on this horse and Mandella? Look at the years accomplishments by the horse. Imo it is tougher for Mandella to pass on the race, than it would be to go. I think this move by Mandella shows his status as a responsible and quality trainer. Mandella does not need to have a horse in the BC to have the status. If this horse would hae been fit and went to the race, he probably wouldnt have been my pick but he would of had my respect.

well said. I love to root for this horse, I'm sorry he's not right for the big one. But the great thing about him is he'll be back for me to root for next year...gotta love a gelding.

Totally agree. That's why Mandella is at the top of my list of trainers in Cal.

maybe next year for the tin man.....here's hoping he comes back well after taking a break. he's been a joy to watch again this year.

better yet, I hope he ends up like Bluesthestandard.
Symphony Sid is a better turf distance horse with more speed.
