Looks like a bunch are simply entered for the $5k "bonus" that they get for running in both the Gotham and the Wood... nice field, wow.

Out of the 56 combined lifetimes starts in this field, the four highest bsfs are all from MO.

Yes, both fields suck... take out Uncle Mo and they are equally embarrassing to be considered graded purses for Derby field considerations....

My point has plenty of merit to those without their NYRA goggles on...

Who the hell wants to face Uncle Mo before the Derby? You can't honestly be blaming NYRA for not getting any other stars in the race.
