That jump starts the day in a big way. Nice ride by Manny Cruz.

How about that? Perfect Sting's 5yo daughter debuts a winner and looks good doing it. And let go at 18-1. Will be interesting to see how Attfield handles her AND her undefeated 3yo sister...

As has the little sister in both her wins.. But, to their credit, they both exhibit nice propulsion when called upon. Let's see what happens when they are in more challenging spots and things don't go their way. They may be that good. It's pretrty funny to have a 5yo break her maiden a month or so after her soph sis.

Their 7 year old brother, Perfect Bullet, is in the 11th race tomorrow at Gulfstream too

That was so remarkable nobody would believe me if I tried to explain that trip

The truly amazing thing is how we seem to end up on the same horses that get nightmare trips. Now she'll be 8/5 next time because her trouble was so obvious and it makes it difficult to bet her back.

The DRF chart gives a full and detailed explanation of her trip, so even those that didn't see it will know about it.

I was on this horse in her American debut back in January, when she got a terribly troubled trip in a race she was loads the best. Then Mr Pugh decides to put this maiden in a 1 7/16 allowance race, where she got a wide trip to nowhere. He scratched her a week ago when she drew the rail, one can only guess as to why, and then the nightmare of nightmare's yesterday. Many turf horses seem to find trouble frequently, because of the way the races are run, and not having that "turn of foot" to extricate themselves from tight spaces. I have no idea if she is one of those or not, because she hasn't had a chance to prove it yet, one way or the other.
