If he's so worried about the bottom line and making a profit ... wouldn't Calder be a poor option?

Even dopey Gill eventually figured out that Pennsylvania is the right place to go when you don't have truly top horses.

For Frank, it's all about the man.....or men. Good riddance to that wrinkled liver spot and the rest of his lavender mafia. With this move, Illinois racing has made a quantumn leap forward from "totally horrendous " to "very irrelevant".

Isn't that what we're all striving for?

Making a profit is far from the truth. Word is that he has taken the new rule personally because he would always win those 5-6 horse fields.

Arlington will be better for it. Although I'm guessing that Jamie Ness might swoop in now since he already has a stable at Hawthorne, but has never come to Arlington.

Why doesn't he ship to NY or Parx if he is so worried about making a profit? His better stock could race at Belmont and the other stuff could try Parx and Penn? Doesn't Mr. C's product ship well?

Stalls are impossible at Parx, although I would assume that a guy that runs like him would be welcomed with open arms, they would probably build a barn for him with the way the fields have been lately.

I could only imagine the Juan Carlos Guerrero/Nick Canani showdown, it could be priceless.
