Location is everything, I guess. $252 A NIGHT for The Saratoga Community Court Motel opening weekend of Saratoga this year. Kiss my ass. I'd rather sleep in my car.

There's a state park 10 mi outside Saratoga that has camping, swimming, showers, etc. Moreau Lake I believe.
http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/150/maps.aspx They have 2 cottages . The campground cottage is available the end of Aug. Lots of camping spots open for the season.
