![]() He ran well enough that his performance shows he would have been very tough to beat in the Tampa Derby.
The horse who beat him today is nothing special - but he's run back-to-back mid 90's figures without real easy trips ... and today it was a certainty that he was going to get a dream trip - controlling a slow pace from the outside of a hopeless quitter. Surprised that exacta paid 6/1. Outside of the two Zito's - everyone else looked hopeless. |
