It would be nice to see something like that attempted again.

our older division needs serious help. hell. the entire graded division needs revamping. some kind of series would be a good thing.

I would like to see something like that for the male turf division. It can start with the GP Turf Handicap, followed by the Kilroe, Muniz, Maker's Mark, Early Times, Dixie, Manhattan, Eddie Read, Arlington Million, and conclude with the Shadwell Turf Mile. The Early Times, Dixie, and Manhattan were actually part of a bonus series around 18 years ago.

What if they took it a step farther and did it for all Eclipse Divisons, did away with voters and awarded points to determine Divisional Champions? Hopefully that would do away with conflicting Stakes schedules.

I know I'm dreaming that we could ever get this amount of cooperation from the tracks.

I'm still waiting for the Triple Crown Challenge to return.

Wouldn't that require racing horses? That's ridiculous

Good idea. I'd like to see Eclipse awards determined by the fans. Like baseball .

Huh? End of the year awards in baseball aren't determined by fans.
