Great explanation, hope it helps. Pacers are faster than Trotters as they tend to glide over the track and the pounding on the track doesn't seem to be as severe as watching a thoroughbred.

24 in a row after last night, just read an article about him in the Sun Times, he came back to Balmoral where he won his 1st race

Hard not to root for the connections of this horse. Sure that last race was a soft spot, but they brought him home for the fans, and donated the entire purse to charity. Hope he can win again at Woodbine.
