Square Eddie is coming off a track record performance at Santa Anita. Eldaafer well, yeah, he's never been competitive at all with graded stakes company at distances shorter than 12 furlongs.

The Hals Hope seems to be a very productive race. 6 horse field with 3 of them coming back next out with 2 winners and a third. Caixa Electronica won on 1/23/2010 in a AOC by 2.5 lengths at 6-1. Tackelberry won the Sunshines Classic by 2.25 lengths at 25-1 and Dream Maestro in the same race ran a closing third at 60-1. With Rule and Morning Line in the Donn and both coming out of the Hals Hope running lengths better than those other three mentioned above, maybe we can expect a very good effort by these two.

I definitely never said that Eldaafer shouldn't be questioned. I just don't think Square Eddie belongs here after however many months off + one 6 furlong blitz at SA. Hope he proves me wrong though...the division could obviousy use a few more horses that can actually run.
