I'm for the Vegas Pawn episode when the King Tut Mask comes in.

'Um let me get someone down here to authenticate it and then we can talk price.'

After finding out it's real and estimated at $500 million US.

'Ok very few people can afford this, it might be a curse for me to even buy it. I can do $50 thousand cash money'

'You can't do more. I came all the way from Egypt with this and it wasn't easy'

'Well it does have some damage from when the museum guards tried to machete you. I'll do $75 grand no more.'

'Ok Sold 75K'

Maybe we will see the mask on Pawn Stars. Love to see if Corey knows anything about King Tut.

Strange how The Muslim Brotherhood, all over the news shows last night as a successor to Mubarek and his party, was represented as a peaceful secular group yet are making statements like, "A leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt told the Arabic-language Iranian news network Al-Alam on Monday that he would like to see the Egyptian people prepare for war against Israel, according to the Hebrew-language business newspaper Calcalist.

Muhammad Ghannem reportedly told Al- Alam that the Suez Canal should be closed immediately, and that the flow of gas from Egypt to Israel should cease “in order to bring about the downfall of the Mubarak regime.” He added that “the people should be prepared for war against Israel,” saying the world should understand that “the Egyptian people are prepared for anything to get rid of this regime.”

Ghannem praised Egyptian soldiers deployed by President Hosni Mubarak to Egyptian cities, saying they “would not kill their brothers.” He added that Washington was forced to abandon plans to help Mubarak stay in power after “seeing millions head for the streets.”

Except that on their own website, the MB states that they will not be taking leadership positions in the upcoming gov't. The guy quoted above may well "like to see the Egyptian people prepare for war against Israel." Well, Republican leader Michelle Bachmann would well like to see disability benefits for US veterans cut. Doesn't mean it will happen.

Default Al Jazeera gets temporary US home

AJ has had the best, live coverage of Egypt.

Quote:
NEW YORK — Al-Jazeera English has temporarily gained a long-sought American television outlet for its coverage of the Egyptian turmoil, an event that the Qatar-based news network hopes is a turning point for its acceptance in the U.S. market.

Link TV, an independent broadcaster seen primarily on the DirecTV and Dish satellite systems, said Wednesday it is simulcasting about 12 hours a day of live Al-Jazeera coverage to about 33 million of the nation's nearly 116 million homes with televisions. Al-Jazeera's in-depth treatment of the story has won praise from journalists and hostility from Egyptian authorities, who closed the channel's Cairo office and briefly detained six of its journalists.

When the story calms down, Al-Jazeera plans go back to cable operators in the U.S. to seek permanent spots on the air, said Al Anstey, the network's managing director.

I meant they had the best coverage, and live.

But I think BBC is there.
