This would be a really cool bet if everyone was playing "perfectly" - i.e. tossing all lower priced horses in an attempt to be the only one to hit. At a certain point playing some chalkier combos could yield big results, but people are too clueless to play things correctly. The first thing I would probably do is find one longshot in the sequence that will knock out almost everyone and structure my ticket around that horse.

With a .10 base bet, it is not meant to gobble up oodles of smart money, or of ANY money. If you play it for $24 bucks or so, you can and should have several "reaches".

It is entertainment.

Exactly.. It's a cheap lotto ticket and not a bad way to introduce neophytes to 'big game' multi-race wagering. It certainly wasn't going to hurt GP's non-existent established P6 play....

Exactly. I don't get the purist that bitch about it, it wasn't like they were playing it anyways, no one played it.

I don't think anyone was really bitching about it, but it's not a bet for horseplayers.

Today's result will add further intrigue...

Carryover goes to $31,500... BUT the 2 winning 6 of 6 plays get back a robust $5,370!...

Now, if you're playing your normal multiples or even more than usual, (192 = $19.20 for example), isn't $5,400 an OK return?

Interesting, eh?
