once again errant reporting run amuck. DHS is denying any links to right wing groups.

More people need to be armed and carry concealed. The answer is more guns.

My thoughts and prayers to the victims of this senseless violence and their families. We can debate "fault" another day and to be sure, there is plenty to go around from all sides. I'm not ready to declare the shooter a "nut" just yet, lets see what unfolds...not everyone who acts in a reckless, vicious manner can escape judgement as a "nut"....there is such a thing as evil.

unfortunately not everyone on the left shares your wisdom Somer. before the blood on the pavement had even cooled the media was in lockstep that the blame was to be shared by Sarah Palin, Glen Beck and the tea party. nevermind that the shooter had stalked the congresswoman for years and that there is no connection to any of the above.

Yeah I'm not sure the guy was a nut. He might of woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I remember Season 2, Episode 8 of Buffy when she woke up on the wrong side of the bed and sucked off 8 dudes and turned them...

turned them totally gay.

the race is on for leading deep thinker on the left. two more brilliant reasons have been offered for why this guy went nuts with his gun.

James Clyburn of South Carolina
Quote:
“All [of] this stuff taking place in the Chambers the other day, when the Constitution was being read — all that stuff is uncalled for,” Rep. Clyburn (D-SC) told the Ed Schultz radio program.
Clyburn says there may be a “direct link” between Sharron Angle’s “Second Amendment remedies” comment and the reading of the Constitution with the attempted murder of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords over the weekend.
Former senator Bob Kerry
Quote:
Tomorrow they were going to vote to repeal this health care bill — and it’s not going to go anywhere in the Senate — it’s one of the reasons that this guy was angry

and the beat goes on.

He is another example of a person who probably received a large amount of undeserved self-esteem builders. This guy had red flags all over him as he could not cope with life in general. Hopefully, justice will give this man what he really needs. My thoughts are with the families of the innocent victims in this tragedy.

Its pathetic that the media is using this for political advantage. The guy was a psycho, not a "tea partier" or "progressive"

he Somer... I was told you were dead. Congratulations on being alive.

I guess

Yes, now that the "nut" has been proven not to be of the Tea Party, Sarah Palin or anything pro-Constitution lets stop talking about blame.

shameless dems... accuse people of rhetoric while using rhetoric

Not at all - just pointing out the ridiculousness of those who want to blame Sarah Palin's graphic as a reason for this tragedy.

OK Dem'ers and GOP'ers we are all safe from blame.

This nutjob was registered as an Independent.

I never trusted anybody that likes to play for both teams

Damn, my bad Princess. I apologize. That wasn't nice of me and I take it back. I didn't mean to offend.

In fact, once I ate too many mushrooms and came face to face with the Devil. It was not a pretty sight. After a long and arduous fight, I drove him back in his hole and haven't heard from him since.

anyone recall the outrage over this quote? I didn't think so.

Quote:
"That Scott down there that's running for governor of Florida," Mr. Kanjorski said. "Instead of running for governor of Florida, they ought to have him and shoot him. Put him against the wall and shoot him.
compliments of dem rep Kanjorski.

“I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!” Obama on ACORN Mobs, March 2010

and i thought to myself: "wtf? there were acorn mobs?"

it took me 30 seconds to google the quote and it's context:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/21/us...cs/21memo.html

“I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry. I’m angry,” Mr. Obama said, his voice reaching a peak seven days after learning of the bonuses given to employees of the American International Group. “What I want to do, though, is channel our anger in a constructive way.”

good contribution, jim. well researched as usual.
