This card was a lot stronger last year than this year (even if the weather was the worst EVAH). I wonder why they choose not to go with a sprint card and more stakes again this year.

That whole day I felt like I was in NY and not FLA. The weather for the first month was 80% brutal.

The good news is, I'm not going to Gulfstream this year so you should have 70 degree days and lots of sunshine.

I still thought the track was very pretty and really enjoyed it, though I never saw the old Gulfstream to compare.

Sounds like me -- whenever I go to the sunshine state it rains.

Come on, Rule!

Rule will need to be outstanding to beat Morning Line especially the way the Zito's are going. Morning Line is very good so far.

Not that I necessarily like him, but Rule ran big in the Florida Derby last year in a race that completely fell apart. He has legit talent.

I'd be happy to see him run a solid race, maybe a foundation on which to build a good year.
