Sarah is living out her last 15 minutes of fame. This book release has tanked and is not selling (that's a Murdoch production). The ratings on her TV show have dropped like rock and she only has two episodes left (that's a Murdoch production). She's been thoroughly exposed as being unable to contribute anything more than recite the superficial populist platitudes of her speechwriters, so there goes her Fox commentary gig (a Murdoch production). Her snarky constant bitchiness and lack of class - especially when she attacked a First Lady - is starting to turn off even her most loyal supporters (middle-aged and older white evangelicals) - and Mike Huckabee is more valuable than Palin there, he garners more of them for the GOP, with more knowledge and respect and less hate.

Palin is only continually useful to Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes at this point as a "possible" Presidential candidate, and the GOP old guard has made it clear she's not wanted, and the polls have made it clear she's unelectable.

As the 2012 election season unfolds, she'd done. She's got nothing to offer, and she's no longer a moneymaker for Rupert. Everybody has seen the "scope" and depth of Palin, she opens her mouth and nasty hate or sheer stupidity falls out. Yip, yip, yip. No secrets left to plumb with this one. Yawn. Her web clicks are falling off.

She has a multi-year contract, so maybe Murdoch can continue to draw a million or so of the ultra-loyal to a Palin reality series.
