Default Tampa Bay Opens
Opening day at that great little track Tampa Bay Downs...cloudy and cool but a nice crowd on hand for a track that does many things right...free parking, free admission today (and all week days), free seating in grandstand, a nice free 116 page booklet guide for betting Tampa in 2010-2011 season...Billy Mott trained Film Making ships from NY to win a MSW Turf thriller in a photo over the hotly bet My Zipper....Suzzona, in from Churchill wins the feature Lightning City turf sprint...a lot of old time flavor for those who like memories of when racing was king and the crowds came tothe tracks, even the smaller ones...wonder if any other DeeTee members were out and about at the Downs.
