Boogles my mind that they still want us to believe only a handful of people knew about Bernies scheme....

The US trustee representing *the victims of Bernard Madoff, has filed a $19.6bn lawsuit accusing almost 60 people and institutions, including some of Italy and Austria’s largest banks, of participating in a decades-long “illegal scheme”.

Madoff's sons seemed to come out of this financially unscathed. The son who commited suicide was a fuc<king compliance officer.. They want us to believe he had no idea what was going on.

IMO It doesn't matter whether he was involved or not he's dead. You can't kill him again.
Not sure if he was on the trustee's list of 60 people/institutions

He's dead yet his family and future generations are set for 10 lifetimes financially.

There has been nothing at all to show this son was remotely involved (as opposed to Madoff's wife). He didn't work anywhere near the section of the company that did the Ponzi scheme (didn't have access). He left a wife and a 2-year-old child. Tragic that his father's actions destroyed his life, too (death threats against their child, etc)

Leaving a 2 yr old is as cowardly as it gets. No excuses.

Ditto. It was weird, though, it's been reported that the wife got a call in Florida to "check on the two-year-old" back home with the husband.

Good in your world father and son should be together. As always: wtf!

starting to understand you better!

What is really weird (not RIOT weird) is reports have the father in deep despair, approaching the 2nd anniversary of his pa getting arrested and wife goes to FL w/o the 2yr old son?
