![]() Got him stuck inside. They were all riding his horse, but when you're on the obvious chalk, then you know that was a bad spot to be sitting. I played him in a straight exacta on top of the winner. Should easily have gone my way, but he choked on this ride. He was last early, and then (right away ) he seems to be mid pack (stuck on the rail.) He was asking for trouble, and he got it. Some other guy on a lesser horse (but riding perfectly) gets a Grade 1. I love how all these people making money calling races (and commentating) will be quick to say a horse had trouble, but don't want to ever say a guy had a horse in a spot that was perfect for finding trouble. They act like it 100% bad luck, and never being in poor position. He had the horse in a position that often results in chalk getting screwed.
