I agree the race was unbettable, but is that the fault of NYRA or the trainers and owners that leave their horses in the barns? The race is a $200K Grade II, what more can NYRA do but put up the money? I always wonder why trainers with second tier horses don't enter them when there are going to be small fields in these graded races where you can get a nice check if you can plug up for 3rd or 4th, and who knows, maybe even have crazy things happen and steal a win. Instead, they keep their horses in the barn for weeks or months looking for that huge effort in NW1 or 2.

Ya can't really blame the track. It is like the KYJC,instead of 2 horses(Justin Phillip/Brethern) running in it and competing, there owners/trainers decide to run them in a 50k Allow. For an extra $750 bucks I would try my horse in a race that is worth 100k more, pays your fee for the TC and gives u graded stakes

Aqueduct 7

late pk4 stab:

7- 1,5
8- 3,5,8
9- 3,6,8
10- 2,4,5,10,13

If the 1 stays anywhere near this crazy 12-1 on the board, then $20W 1 (4-1 or over).

Its not the bettors problem.. NYRA has to use it's clout to influence trainers to run instead of the usual "there is nothing we can do attitude". Get someone in that has ideas on how to solve the problem instead of this horse ****.
