Not a single horse with 130. Why do they bother with this race anymore? Call it the Turkey day special and let them carry the usual 118. This used to be an interesting race because of the unique weight assignments. Now it is just a glorified allowance race with horses carrying a few pounds more than 3 year olds running in the Belmont.

Last Year that had to carry some real weight....don't know why they pussed out this year.
Maybe where the horses are so bad the didn't qualify for the higher weights.

Godolphin nominated Girolamo and Vineyard Haven and they were given 140 and 138 and Bribon was given 137. The spread between those three and everyone else left a bunch of horses with under 130.

It's one of a kind, If you dump it it could be gone forever. They should dump 1/3 of the G3 races across the country and 1/2 the G1's..
