![]() If Zenyatta's connections wanted to court HOY favor for their mare, they'd denounce such outrageous accusations by these hacks.
Did I watch the same post race press conference as everyone else? I thought Seth Hancock was the essence of respect and admiration for Zenyatta. When asked about Horse of the Year, was he supposed to say something different than what he said? Zenyatta zealots have yet to learn that denigrating the competition cheapens their champion. She deserves better.

![]() Blame should be HOY, obviously. If you put the accomplishments up on board with no names attached, no one in their right mind would vote otherwise: 3 for 4 in open Grade 1s, v. 0-1 in open Grade 1s, with that loss being a head to head loss to the other horse. But these cult-like idiots can't admit the obvious, so they continue on with any kind of nonsense they can latch on to. Actually, I am beginning to enjoy it. Their obvious foolishness is likely to provoke a backlash that guarantees exactly the opposite of what they seek. Keep it up, Zenyattards.
No one hates Zenyatta. Just about everyone hates Zenyattards, however. Ed Fountaine--Jesus, I thought he was discredited when horse racing astrology, aka "dosage", finally went the way of the dodo. And Thoroughbred Champions--the "racing as glorified petting zoo" crowd. Please don't tell me that that miserable broad from the AOL days is still in charge over there. At least Matt was always good for a laugh. |

![]() Just so I understand all of this...Seth Hancock is the worst guy ever because someone asked him after the Classic who should be HOY and he said Blame? He basically said he thought the race for HOY was on the track at CHurchill and Blame won?
Yet Team Zenyatta pandered to the media before the race saying she should be HOY regardless and they are great. Even after the race, when asked they said the same thing. What is the difference? What am I missing here? Are people this crazy? What was Hancock supposed to do, lie? Why is he not allowed to be proud of his horse? |

![]() Every trainer I've talked to on the West Coast agrees that Hancock's comments were completely out of line. If every trainer can see it, I'd think they know what they're talking about, so you guys are all saying you know more than them?

![]() This is an emotional issue with Zenyatta fans. I like her and I'm sorry she got nosed out at the wire, but she lost - it's as simple as that. A win in the BCC was supposed to decide HOY for QR, Zenyatta, LaL, and Blame. Now what is it? Oh, it doesn't count because Zenyatta lost. It's now subject to debate? There was absolutely nothing amiss with the Seth Hancock post BCC race interview. His voice was shaking, and he gave great praise to the mare. Anyone finding fault with how he conducted himself is doing so out of desperation. I believe the voters for HOY will do the right thing, and whatever they do will be the right thing. There's no need to go on these witch hunts.

When you hold such beliefs, and you're proven ridiculously WRONG, the only recourse is to come after the Zenyattards. After all, those holding them have been LAUGHABLY discredited for any of the non TARD Z supporters; and just about everyone else, for that matter. When you're DRUGS, for example, and you're Classic pick is the same as Mike the EUNUCH's (arguably #1 Z basher) or Tom's (#1 alltime for money spent on other people's ideas/programs) or RH10' ![]() If you're a BEYERITE, you're feeling vindicated by the head win. Empowered even. If you thought that Blind Luck was BETTeR than Z, like one of our more prominent Fig makers, you're putting your woeful trip handicapping/intuitive pace comprehension skills on display by claiming that Z got a perfect trip and Fly Down got the worst of it. Whatever gets you through the day. ![]() It all makes for some nice comic relief. |

The only thing I can say for sure is that anyone who took that ridiculously low price on Zenyatta on the Classic doesn't know the first frigging thing about betting the races. If somebody wanted to make her the most likely winner--OK, the was certainly within the range of reasonableness. And she almost did win (a polite way of saying she lost). But it took a certain kind of imbecile to gag down the price she was being offered at. If you are that kind of imbecile, hey, more power to you--I took some of your money home. Hopefully no one is counting on ever inheriting a cent from you. |
