Speaking of IC offspring, do you have an opinion about Anthony's Cross?
He's the Eoin Harty that ran in the key maiden race at toga with Astrology and To Honor and Serve. Broke his maiden at churchill a few weeks ago, and looks like he could become something.

Well we should get clues this weekend, where the Top 2 Finishers in the Delta Jackpot will be in the Ky Derby unless they get injured or sold to Dubai.

Then the 27 we get 2 Graded 2 yr old races with

Remsen(So Far)-To Honor and Serve,Curlinello,Bandbox

Ky Jockey Club(So Far)-Rogue Romance,Astrology,and possibly Z Appeal,Major Gain,Santiva

When was the last time the top 2 finishers in the Delta Jackpot went onto the KY Derby? I'm fully aware of having them getting the needed earnings. It's often they're not good enough to warrant consideration (Turf War a couple of years ago, as well as many others).

No idea but I know that is why this race had 19 pre enters.People finally figured out if they run and make money now that they dont have to kill there horses or crossing their fingers on poly to make the KY Derby

That is why horses are coming in from FL,Cali,Canada,NY.

Also a reason why Rogue Romance is running next week,he showed he liked CD. So why not keep him there and let him run in the KY Jockey Club? I get the idea, its easier to get graded earnings now then wait till Feb. THey run him now and in Feb he could run like crap in Arkansas and still be in.

In the past it's probably been the timing of the race and the Bull Ring that has kept a lot of quality horses away. It's not like people just figured out that $1,000,000 is a lot of money (or the 750K it was the past year, I believe). Personally, I like this event and is the one day a year I actually play Delta.
But winning on a gimmicky track like that is one reason why it's hard to equate the Jackpot winner as being a possible future star on the Derby trail.

My opinion of him is that I now have to go look up a video of him.

Thanks!

That's all right, I could have called you Rock Tard Hen, but I didn't.

I wish you would have. The ANTI-mush could be useful. I have a small future bet on him at 200-1, so I'm keeping my eye on him, and think he has a nice chance to improve next year.

RHT and I have a deal. He can't say anything overly good, or anything bad, about any IC offspring. With that in mind, he's given you the reverse mush.
