![]() The problem was, didn't Sheik Mo have like 3 other otpions besides Ashkal for the Mile? They interview Bin Suroor after Ashkal won the Kelso, and he said he'd evaluate his options and consulte the Sheik. I guess they decided on someone else. Why not run 'em all?
It's the same with Bernardini and Discreet Cat in regards to the BC Classic... if they can both get the Classic Distance, why not run them both? If they finish 1-2 (which there's a very good chance that could happen), that would look really good for Godolphin.

![]() Ashkal Way would not be competitive with the top europeans or Aragorn. He is more of a group 2 horse. Good horses don't barely beat a horse like Free Thinking.
