While I would love to see a son of Albert the Great win, and a Tagg horse too, experience counts a ton in these two year old races. Nobiz will not have everything his way this time. It is very difficult to jump from a maiden into a grade 1, and I still want to see how Nobiz handles the gate.

Scat Daddy has been put through the fire against some very good horses. I think 8f is his limit, but I think he will make a big jump off his last race. I like Johnny V on the dirt quite a bit more than Cornelio too.

The Street Cry colt is really the big question mark in here. I would not be shocked to see Big Timer win this race.

Don't disagree with your sentiments, however all he needs to do is run back to the same race (he could even regress a couple lengths) and it's his. The others all need to show marked improvement.

Note that out of the same race, Pink Viper (beaten 20 lengths) came back to run 2nd to the quality Giant Chieftan in the race Bullara bombed.

Big Timer is very interesting. I could see his form transferring well (Street Cry was excellent on the dirt, after all)...

I was kinda hoping Ashkal Way would go in the Mile. He'd be at huge odds, but he's got that closing kick that would make him competitive. But whatever...

Thats the one I was referring to when I said one shocked me. I can't believe he isnt going to run in there.

The problem was, didn't Sheik Mo have like 3 other otpions besides Ashkal for the Mile? They interview Bin Suroor after Ashkal won the Kelso, and he said he'd evaluate his options and consulte the Sheik. I guess they decided on someone else. Why not run 'em all?

It's the same with Bernardini and Discreet Cat in regards to the BC Classic... if they can both get the Classic Distance, why not run them both? If they finish 1-2 (which there's a very good chance that could happen), that would look really good for Godolphin.

Ashkal Way would not be competitive with the top europeans or Aragorn. He is more of a group 2 horse. Good horses don't barely beat a horse like Free Thinking.
