Well we have all seen our general standard of living decline already quite a bit in the last 3 years. There are 45 million people on food stamps now.

Real bad---less than 5 years. My guess is in the 3 year range.

I can't disagree with the predictions of doom and gloom. However, we're pretty well set before the butt end falls completely out of the economy. By then, we won't much give a damn cuz we'll be dead. I really pity the people who have to deal with it.

The country is in the toilet, and, it's not all Bush's fault either.

I think regardless of our issues, we will "war" our way out of it just like every other empire. Its naive to think that we can't create enemies any time we like.
