I had one of the girls at Marc's tell me about a real ghost haunting she had at the age of 10.She's about 20 now.You never know about these things,but she seemed serious and doesn't seem the type to conjure up a story.
She said the house her family lived in was not known to be haunted,but after a while she saw something in the basement.She said it was a woman and was much more than just a mist or shadow.The ghost was not cyrstal clear,but was distinct in her form and wore shades of fading greys ...almost to white.She ,of course, was scared to death when she first saw this woman.After unfreezing, she ran upstairs and told her Mother. Who thought she was faking and told her to go back down in the basement and she would come with her....nothing. So this girl said it happened about a month later,twice.Her parents thought her imgaination was running away .I know if I was her imagination I would run away after seeing a ghost, very fast! To end this long story...they got her Grandmother involved who actually was very religious and into this stuff.She came to the house and into the basement....said the ghost was not a danger and went on to bless the area and have the ghost move along. And that was that. I really believed this girl. Best supposedly real life ghost story I have heard. I still have never seen one.....phooey.
