Katie Lee's short Australian preparation is only a shadow of the target originally in store for the mare this spring who was to be aimed at tomorrow's $3million Group 1 Cox Plate (2040m).
“She was always coming,” Rogerson said.
“She was actually going to run in the Cox Plate but we had a wet Spring in New Zealand and we couldn't get the racing into her she needed because she doesn't go in the wet."
