I think I'm going to try to beat Mullins in the 5th and single the 3. But I'm still looking at what to do in the 7th now.
The 7th is a skullbuster - I really like the 4 stretching back out 2nd off, should be a fair price too. I'm probably gonna hit the all there.

Mullins 0-20 first off - I like your play there... I'm taking a long look at the 8 as well

The 7th got harder with it coming off. I just tried to look for a couple of horses that have had success running on the fake stuff. The thing with the 4,5,7 for me is, they are all coming off layoffs and didn't scratch when it came off the turf. So are the trainers just using this as a tune up for something else down the road?

Yeah, there is really no recent synth form on any of of 'em. Pretty damn ambitious of Mulhall to put the 4 straight into a G1 off a year + layoff, think he can handle the plastic and the distance helps.... hopefully the price holds - but outside of just class, it really is a complete crapshoot

Mullhall is always live, there were only 6 horses in the Bing Crosby, maybe she though she could just get a check out of the race. Or maybe she thinks the horse can run on the poly. She will take some money, but I think you will still get a price. I just don't see peoplepounding Brice Blanc. The horse I can't figure out is the 3. I was tossing him on the turf, just because he could hold a lead at Saratoga with really soft fractions. But it's his 3rd off a layoff and it looks like he is in decent form.
It really is a crapshoot.

Damn...Quinonez had some horse but he couldn't make up his mind what to do at the top of the lane.

That would've been nice - had room at the rail at the top of the lane but didn't want any part of P Val pinching him, my guess.

Both of the last two NY turf starts were against pretty tall company, and Repriced on top is straight grass - so it's difficult to get a handle on him in this spot certainly much softer that what he's been facing back east... Add that Proctor is the listed trainer but who know who really has him out there...gotta like the 6 a little bit too off the last synth try
