We are taking a different approach with her since what we have been doing isn't working. Being at the farm she can get away from the stress of the track and Susan can spend a lot more time riding her. Hopefully we can get her 100% out there and bring her back to the track and getting to the races quickly. It has been extremely frustrating as she does have a quick turn of foot and displays glimpses of talent. However she is turning 4 in a few short months and at some point we will have to make a decision on when to find her a new vocation if racehorse doesnt work out.

Sent update to partners on MISSUS MAYFLOWER this morning..
We have been forced to give up any hope of ever getting MISSUS MAYFLOWER to the races. After losing at least $40,000 developing her and keeping her in training for almost 2 years without a start, Chuck has given her to a polo club in Houston. She should find excellent employment as a polo pony as she is low to the ground, fearless and fast in bursts. It's too bad that she wasn't built better for racing, as she had speed and liked training. But she was constantly coming up sore after any rigorous workout, and would then have to be given time off.
