It's just a feeling I get that she'd not handle it well, and maybe that's why they didn't take her around after all. Wasn't the first race post-Apple Blossom this year a squeaker? We get that she likes the distance. Why would they bail? I don't think they think she's gonna lose. Is there something that looks less than great about her that I've missed out on? I don't get how they get HOY if one of the other contenders wins it, and she doesn't bother to show.
I can only answer this for myself my dear...

It's just a feeling.

Maybe it's the cynic in me... the pessimist.

It's easy for all of us to say well I can see them thinking this and that but hey we are here to discuss things, right?

I can see them being afraid. They changed their mind(s) about retirement... I can see them changing it about this too.

Fear that she will lose, that her luck will run out... it's funny cause i AM a fan of hers and yet i realize that saying these things can be taken in a sarcastic way.

I mean no disrespect or anything...

I can just see them not wanting to push it and any little thing being used as a reason for retirement.

But maybe they are also just full of bullshit

You forgot something.

Looking forward to hearing about the big mare's breeze later this morning

Some really bizarre posts here

Can't imagine anything other than injury, illness, or horrible track condition (like '07 when SA's 'roid-freak freaked in the soup) will keep her out of the gate.

Why would track condition matter? Because the horse could possibly lose, like every other horse whose trainers will keep them in regardless of conditions?

Also freaking in the "soup" were Midnight Lute, War Pass, and Indian Blessing. I wonder where Smoothie's accusations towards the trainers of those three horses are? Selective amnesia, perhaps?

Despite the weather it was by far the most formful BC I have seen. The horses that should have won did. (Redboard alert) The only winner I missed all day was Lahudood or whatever that KMac horses name was. Sadly the bankroll I had back then did not provide a massive takedown. Great times though!

I tossed Lahudood out of all bets because of all the nonsense KMac was saying about the horse hating anything but firm turf, and absolutely loved Honey Ryder so I had everything centered on her.

Screw Lahudood.
