How has Smiling Tiger nearly completely escaped notice all season? He hasn't been off the board in his career and seems like an ideal candidate making the synth/dirt move for the Sprint. Jeff Bonde was on ATR yesterday and said he's bring the 3yo, (historically a potent BC Sprint angle), into Churchill 2 weeks out. With the race seemingly 'wide open' post Majesticperfection/Discreetly Mine defections, I'm eager to see how this rather common colt, (By Hold That Tiger and purchased in the Washington State Fall Yearling Sale), trains and is priced. Feels like he's coming into this on the typical 'soph in the sprint' (Cajun Beat/Thunderello/Squirtle Squirt/etc.) arc..

Hey Byk, any word on the sale of Sydney's Candy?
I haven't seen a word about it since it was first announced in the form of a scratch. |

Interesting...from recent memory, I can only think of the 3-year olds that failed as low prices in the sprint (Henny Hughes, Lost in the Fog, and most recently, Zensational). Maybe these 3 were more of an exception, rather than the rule.
