Teams change every year, but losing is a disease. Look at the Twins in this years playoffs. That series was over before it started. The Yankees are in their head and it's not going to change.

Tonight was a game the Jets normally lose. I've watched enough of them to know this and any other Jet fan on this board (Ateam, Gales, Randall, etc) will tell you the same thing.

As for Favre, he deserves an Oscar for the arm holding.

Your boy had a better shot winning in NE. But as we all know, he doesn't really care about winning.

There is absolutely no logic to any of this.

The Jets are choke artists because the 20 or so different starters they had playing 3 or 4 years ago didn't know how to seal a game?

It's an entirely different team... but some magical disease is going to strike them because of their team name? What about Joe Namath in Super Bowl 3? That team had almost as much in common as the ones qb'd by Calvin Clemens or whatever his name was.

Highlight of the Moss press confrence ...

Quote:
"That's a nice combination," Moss said of the Jets' secondary duo of Revis and Cromartie. "They remind me of the old Kansas City Chiefs when they had Dale Carter and James Hasty -- tough to throw on, both sides of the field. I give credit to both of those guys."

Those two guys have both been out of the NFL for about 8 years.

Lowlight of the Moss press confrence:

Comparing Adrian Peterson to Big Brown...a horse he bet on in the Derby.

3 or 4 years ago? How about last year? In 2009, the Jets were 0-5 in games decided by less than 6 points. They had excruciating last-second losses to the Dolphins, the Bills, the Jaguars, the Dolphins again, and the Falcons. Forget Jet history for a minute, so far this season, there have been three games that last year's team would have almost certainly lost. They lost the first one against the Ravens. They won the Dolphins game (which was pretty much a carbon copy of their loss in Miami on MNF last year) and won tonight's game. It's obviously early, but the most encouraging thing about the first five weeks isn't their talent, which was apparent from day one of training camp, but their developing ability to close out games.

Jets-2
Moss- O

Anyone that has ever played a sport knows what I am talking about. It's the kind of stuff you can't get in the box scores.
