Yes, and it's depressing because I've loved this horse since the beginning of the year and the likelihood is that after the BC, he'll go to SA and we'll never hear from him again. It almost makes me not care about how he does in these 2 races.

Per DRF, Races 5 and 11 have been taken off the turf.

Well, I still don't think Girolamo is a sprinter, but I'm very glad he got his grade 1 - even though this was a very weak field. I'd prefer to see him in the Mile, but I don't think that's happening.

I understood what you said. It makes no sense. It's okay for you to be wrong about an AP Indy horse. We're all wrong sometimes.

He's a sprinter that can stretch out to a mile. The sprint division is really bad this year and he'll probably be 3rd choice at worst in the BC Sprint. He's running in the right races.

Did you think he was a sprinter coming into this year? I didn't. We've never seen him go long, so it's hard to say if he could or not; he was thrown to the wolves in the BC Classic on synthetics no less, so I couldn't judge him off that. Clearly he wasn't going to go long this year, so I assumed the Mile was right up his alley.

At this point, the Sprint is where he's going, so I'll have to accept that - and he does have a good shot.

They already have Gayego for the mile correct? I criticize their moves a lot, but right now this seems like it was the right move.

if he ran in last years classic, then you have seen him go long. they have horses for other races, they tried him here to see if he'd go sprinting. he did and will attempt the bc sprint. he just won a gr 1 sprinting, what's not to like? your logic is questionable. it makes no sense to complain about a horse entering a race, but saying you think he could win-which is what you posed previously. gr 1's don't grow on trees. now you say you don't like him going in the sprint, while saying he has a good shot. again, no logic there.
