What's the rule that runs 10 seconds off the clock if the offense commits a foul that stops the clock and why isn't it enforced on the false start with :03 on the clock. I realize the Saints were not doing that but they could have if they couldn't get lined up in time. Seems like there is another potential hole there.... |

The clock was already stopped when the false start occurred. The rule is if the offensive penalty stops the clock, there's a 10-second runoff.
